Living Art Exhibition

The Living Art Exhibition is the first implementation of the Luovailuprojekti. The art exhibition was held in the Haaga area from February 25 to January 26, when we celebrated the closing ceremony of the Living Art Exhibition at the Ida playground. The core idea of the Living Art Exhibition has been to bring art experiences closer to people in different spaces, enabling an increase in experiences of community and participation. The Living Art Exhibition was organized entirely by volunteers. With a small working group, we organized art workshops and exhibitions at seven different locations. In the art workshops, participants were able to create works for the exhibition. Each participant/working group member decided for themselves how they wanted to participate. The Living Art Exhibition has brought together people of different ages and from different walks of life. This was definitely one of the highlights of the Living Art Exhibition! In addition, it has given meaning to different people in different ways. Everyone has been able to participate in exactly the way they wanted. The exhibition included about 70 works of art. The exhibition circled in Helsinki, Haaga area, the Etelä-Haaga library, the Pohjois-Haaga service center, Mariankoti, Valkea Talo, Lassila community center, Pohjois-Haaga elementary school and the Ida playground. In addition to the above-mentioned locations, we collaborated with musicians who made it possible to enjoy live music at the events, Haagan Kehys, which provided frames for our magnificent artworks, and Valkea Talo Restaurant Delicatessen and Casa Haga, which provided catering services.
