Where it all began
Luovailuprojekti is an umbrella under which we carry out free creative activities aimed at different target groups. Our goal is to strengthen regional community spirit by offering low-threshold opportunities for participation to people of all ages. In particular, we aim to strengthen people’s sense of belonging to the community. The project’s values focus on community spirit, participation, openness, and safe spaces.
The first creative activity project implemented is the Living Art Exhibition, which was launched in February 2025. The idea for the Living Art Exhibition was based on the ideas and wishes of the residents of the Haaga area. The Living Art Exhibition tours different locations (library, service center, community center, school, playground) and includes art workshops where participants can create art for the exhibition. The Living Art Exhibition has been part of the project’s ongoing dialogue with residents and brings cultural and artistic experiences closer to communities and social encounters. The idea is to create connections between people across boundaries.
Our activities are based on volunteering.
